I'm an incoming analyst at a REIT coming from a broader corporate finance role (think FP&A or valuation). In preparing for the start of this new role, I've been keeping abreast of general news involving larger REITs (and the one I am going to work for), but I was wondering if there is anything more I can do to in the meantime to prepare better for the position. This could be anything from case studies to adding to my list of news sources.
To provide some background, my new role will be focused on updating tenant credit profiles and helping the acquisitions team complete transactions of new properties.
Thank you in advance for any information or guidance!
EDIT: Not a first time poster, it has just been a while.
