Incoming SA Intern - Places to live in Toronto
I've received and accepted a SA offer in S&T with one of the CAD banks in Toronto. I'm completely new to Toronto region (never lived in Ontario in my life).
Anyone have any suggestions for cheap places/closeby places to live during these upcoming 4 months? Or any nice neighborhoods you would recommend?
If you're looking for cheap accommodations, U of T residences are a good option and go for less than 1k per month. If you want to live in a condo within a 10-15min walking distance to Financial District it'll probably set you back >1.2k for a bed in a 2 bedroom. Take a look on kijiji for short term rentals.

I did contact a few of the residences. Only a couple have got back to me (most were/are closed) but they all said it was too early for summer 2018 rental info.
I know for sure the Graduate House in UofT only caters to graduate students (and I believe you have to be a UofT student as well).
So I guess this will be an ongoing search over the next little bit.
