Indiana University Kelley vs. Lehigh Business for Undergrad
I'm a high school senior who just got off the waitlist at Lehigh. Indiana is going to cost me around 45k a year, while Lehigh will be north of 70k and I am not eligible for aid. Is Lehigh worth the ~100k in debt I'd be accruing?

I went to a Patriot League school, and if you enjoy smaller class sizes, interacting with professors, and a work hard play hard culture than Lehigh may be the place for you. There are a variety of factors that you should be taking into account rather than just money (although that is definitely a big one).
Also, you're saying you will be paying the full 70k a year? 70k x 4 does not equal ~100k...
Sorry if I wasn't more clear... I'd have to pay anything above Indiana's price if I went elsewhere. So the difference between 45k and 70k a year is 25k, which over four years is 100k. I'd undoubtedly enjoy Lehigh's size, location, and atmosphere more, but the question is now "is the school going to be THAT MUCH more fulfilling for me to take out 6 figures worth of loans to attend."

Yea that is tough.. My boss is in her early 30's and went to NYU, she came out with over 100k in debt and is still paying it off. Granted she wasnt making 6 figs right out of school but still..
I came out with debt a bit under what it'd be for your cost to go to Kelly. I am planning on paying it off in under 5 years.
I am not too familiar with Kelly, but it seems like it gets good looks. Would strongly consider that option if you like the school and are able to be a top student amoung your peers.

Also not familiar with Kelley very much; however, can touch a bit on what I know about Lehigh. Know people at BBs NYC from Lehigh, pretty respectable presence. Especially Citi pulls a lot of kids from Lehigh. Not to mention, I think it's ranked as a top 10 party school.
Yep I've networked with a number of Lehigh alum over the months lol. Their school colors are shit though... literally
Current Lehigh student here. Although I used to love my school, the administration's crackdown on Greek life has led to a significant decline in QoL that I used to enjoy. Additionally, I think under ten people in my whole year were able to get IBD internships for this summer. Not sure how the stats break down (how many tried to get into IB but couldn't, what % got in due to family connections vs alumni, etc) but my class is about 1200 students so that's not a great placement rate imo. To be fair, I have no basis for comparison. But regardless, an extra 100k in debt is an insane amount of money. I'd strongly urge you to go to Kelly.
Current Kelley student here - based on this, I would recommend Kelley as well then even if it was the same cost. About 90 kids got IBD internships this year out of the 150-155 kids that went for it. Though, keep in mind the 150 that go for IB are all smart and had between a 3.6-4.0 GPA. Also, there's quite a few students who get IB because they are URM or are in fraternities, so it takes a lot of work and it's not easy.
