Industrial RE Primer / Market Update Materials

Good day, Monkeys.  I have a potentially interesting opportunity to lateral to a fairly new industrial development shop and am looking to learn a bit more about the space/recent trends.  By way of background, I'm currently an IB associate in a restructuring group, but studied RE, had RE internships through college, and always intended to eventually make my way back to RE, preferably development.

Really just looking to brush up on the space, get a feel of market trends (other than being able to say that larger-scale 3rd-party logistics, 750k+ SF units have performed strongly in terms of net absorption and askign rent increases, bolstered by COVID lockdowns) - you know, something intelligent outside of spouting buzz-words that anyone who spent 5 minutes reading a CBRE report could say.

My previous internships were in retail and a mix of office/MF, so no real experience in the space.  And, obviously being in IB hasn't sharpened my RE/industrial specific chops.

If anyone has any good primers/industry updates/trends that they could share, or some informed opinions from working in the space, it'd be much appreciated.

Happy to trade materials if anyone is considering the S&M lifestyle and moving to IB (fair warning, you have to start off as the masochist), happy to pass along materials you might find helpful

Appreciate any insight/resources - thanks, fellas.
