Industries with event-driven capital markets transactions
Going bananas at Google’s lack of IB acumen (and my own I suppose), so I turn to you monkeys.
Are there many industries that primarily raise capital on an event-driven basis? Examples?
The only industry I can think of is healthcare and biotech. Often it seems healthcare and biotech companies launch transactions immediately after good data releases from drug trials and studies. Aside from almost running out of cash, do companies in any other industry raise capital based on catalysts like healthcare/biotech does?
Pls advise thx.
