Information Technology Certificate vs. Econ Minor

Undergrad freshman here at semi-target state school (top 10 public in nation, overall, Georgia Tech). Currently pursuing a major in finance. I know minors/certificates aren't hotspots on resumes, but I am curious for my own benefit; which would be more valuable/practical for a career in IB. Econ is self-explanatory and IT would have me taking courses like Business Analytics, Systems analysis/design and MS Access database creation. Thank you.
