Informational Interviews on weekends!? What do you guys think

Hey bankers,

Rising junior here soon to go into recruiting. Currently have a boutique internship and I am doing banking hours with weekends off. Didn't realize I would do banking hours at my boutique when I accepted the offer, but it turned out that way. I know I need to network but I have no idea how I can possibly do it. Should I try to schedule calls on weekends with analysts? I am going to hopefully have to only recruit for the city I am currently in so I really also want to do coffee chats. Any ideas? I don't know how to approach the people at my boutique because they wouldn't like the idea of me leaving the office to network, no one ever leaves unless it is to go home. Thank you guys in advance! Really worried about this.

Best,
Baby Monkey

Thanks for the reply! My whole firm gets together for lunch so it would be kind of awkward. I wanted to know if it is something that is ever done and if analysts would bother spending weekend time for an info interview? I'm just very careful with my approach since there is only so many firms out there.

Thank you for the reply! It would be kind of awkward to leave during lunch since my whole firm gets together. Is it customary for analysts to give their time on weekends or will I just be laughed at? Very careful to my approach to the analysts since there is only so many firms out there..
