Infrastructure Funds

Knowledgeable people of WO,

I am currently looking to move to an infrastructure group and am currently in interviews with a fund. I am not sure what the outcome will be as there are a few candidates with more experience, but through researching for the position, I have become very interested in the work. Do any of you have any suggestions of how to break in when one isn't part of a public finance group and has more of a project fin. background (junior not too experienced).

Is this a long shot or can it be done? If so,

1) Could you elaborate on your/your friends experience? I am looking to get in contact with you/them or at the very least see what your approach was in order to attempt to replicate

2) What do you think about the experience at a brownfield focused fund vs a fund that takes on development risks through greenfield or repurposed brownfield

Very interested in talking to someone that's knowledgeable in the space if possible. I have already done my research and spoken to a few people so I promise to keep it questions concise if you don't have a lot of time.

Thanks in advance.........
