Interested in stocks, maybe hate working?

Hey everyone - I’ve always been Interested in stocks (did stock pitch competitions throughout college, stock clubs, etc) and joined a BB with the thought of doing PE -> HF. After doing IB for 7 months now, I just don’t like working in a white collar job. Have only closed 1 financing deal so far (joint book) so experience hasn’t been great but has anyone had this experience in IB and how does working in a HF differ? (Still long hours in an office)
