Intern interview for Corp dev at f500
Have an upcoming interview for f500 Corp dev. Ive been preparing for IB interviews so I should be fine with standard technical questions (DCF, cost of debt, CAPM, Beta etc.) I have two main questions: 1. Is there anything substantially different between Corp dev and banking interviews that I should prepare for? 2. I know that sometimes Corp dev forms will run internal LBO’s just to see how much PE firms will bid. Am I expected to be able to speak knowledgeably about an LBO as an intern candidate? (Please say no lol)
Banking guides should be sufficient.
Listen to their annual or most recent earnings call from start to end to learn more abt the business, ER analyst qs and concerns, capital allocation strategy and etc. This will prep you well for industry/company knowledge and you will come across smart and have better qs to ask at the end of your interview.
