Intern Networking with Sell-Side Bankers
Hey Guys, I am a 2nd year MBA candidate who just finished up working full-time at a boutique bank for the summer. I will be continuing on part-time in the Fall with the hope of seeing through a few deals I was working on this summer. We are currently the buy-side bankers on a deal in agreement and going through the due-diligence process.
The sell-side bankers on the deal are alum from my school who I had networked with last year, which is where my question begins. When is it appropriate for me to reach out to these sell-side guys to network with again? I don't want to be crossing any lines in the deal process but also don't want to get left behind in full-time recruiting so I was hoping to connect with them sooner rather than later. Any insights on the protocol in this situation is appreciated.
Thanks for the help.
