Internship help... - Soph at non-target

Hey guys, Im a soph at a nontarget and I had an interview today for a summer internship at small valuation/transaction advisory group today, and the interview went well, except when she asked me a technical question and I couldn't answer it. She said it was ok because I was young and that they help train their younger interns but I think it might look pretty bad considering that it wasn't really a tough question. Question is, should I address it in the thank you letter, to maybe show Im willing and motivated to learn this stuff by answering it in the letter? Thanks

No, def. do not address it because it will just remind them again of your mistake. Besides ur a sophomore, relax. If you answered everything perfectly they might think you are overqualified.
