Internships for MSF Student
Hi WSO,
I'm looking for advice. I will be attending Loyola University Chicago for their MSF program (Masters in Finance) in February 2021. Currently, I am studying for CFA level 1 which I will take before attending the program.
I graduated from a state school in May with a 3.45 GPA and the job market is terrible (basically just couldn't get a job). My dream goal is to get an internship/job in investment banking, but I know I have to get into a top MBA program before they will consider me. So, I am open to all options in finance and would like advice on how to secure an internship.
Should I wait till after the first quarter (getting stellar grades hopefully) to apply for internships?
