Interview Prep - Incoming Sophmore - Where do I start?

Hi everyone - I am an incoming sophomore and I am wondering about the big question 'What Next?'. By 'What Next' I'm pointing to the subject pertaining to interview-prep. I have trouble understanding where to start—honestly. How did everyone approach the BIWS guide and Rosenbaum's? How did IBD SA at BB's prep and understand where even with data-manipulation, their thoughts-process were coherent and logical.

I'm sure it sounds foolish to most— but I'm not sure where the ground-work needs to laid and with consistency, to be successful. Can anyone comment on perhaps their daily-regime or schedule to approach recruiting in relation to technical-questions and even bigger—where to start and what path to navigate?
