Interviewing with a UMM next week…help!

Hello, I currently work at a law firm (non-attorney) and was approached by a large PE firm about a position in their Investor Relations department. I have a set of interviews next Monday, which will be my second round, and it was also mentioned that I will complete a case study next week. The problem is I have zero financial background. What can I expect from my next round of interviews/what do I need to know? And for the case study, will they actually ask me to create a financial model, knowing that I don’t have any experience in finance?

I highly recommend, tonight, finding other people with IR backgrounds at similar UMM firms on LinkedIn, and then reaching out to ask for their advice directly. This is an extremely niche topic and there are not that many IR folks here. @earthwalker7 has done cap intros which is probably the closest I can think of off hand on this forum.
