Hello everyone,
I've been reached out to by a firm and they would like to talk with me. What can I expect and how should I prepare myself for this?

Since it is an introductory call, I would assume that they just want to get to know a little more about you and your interest in the position so that they can see whether you would be a fit for the company.
How were you reached out to by a firm? Usually I would assume that you would reach out to a firm and then an introductory call is scheduled where the aforementioned topics are covered.
They said they found my resume online (it is on Indeed.ca) and asked me to reply if I'm interested in the position
It will be an interview. I would prepare as such.
Agreed. Even if it's not an "official" interview you should treat it as such.
Ahhh the old Private Wealth Advisor / Investment Banker...
sounds like an MLM
Can you explain why you think this is an MLM?
Private Wealth Advisor = sell financial products to individuals Investment Banker = advise companies on capital markets and M&A activity
Different job functions... it would never be both PWM/IBD. It sounds like something meant to deceive someone, unless you know the company is legitimate. In the U.S., you would research their FINRA registration to make sure they are legit
Their website looks very professional IMO. Looks legitimate. I'd do your own due diligence, but recommend you delete the name of the firm to remain anonymous. It looks legit at first glance.
Did you go to the .ca or .com website? Maybe I'm making unfair comparisons to websites of bigger companies.
EDIT: Maybe the Canadian website is new and the are working on it? The .com website looks a lot better
I went to .ca
The PONZI SCHEME has COLLAPSED. EARTH. PLEASE call me when you get this. It is NOT an EMERGENCY (NOT), but we should TALK. I have NO phone.
