Sort of like Bahrain's SWF.Good shop as far as I know, more like typical megafund PE than other SWFs.

Quite a big name. Established alternative investor across public/private managing some $30bn-ish AUM, decent performance and track record across asset classes (European PE has IRRs of ~30% post crisis, LBO'd Gucci, Breguet, Riva, Tiffany's in the 80/90s). They have multiple strategies similar to most megafund (ie private equity, real estate, credit, absolute returns, strategic capital, infrastructure).

I would caveat that a large percentage of their AUM is in real estate. PE doesn't quite do megafund type deals, more like $50-200M equity checks.

Arguably the most absurd office on the city. Ton of mahogany paneling and country club vibes
