Investment banking for an outsider

Hi, wanted to get an opinion on how to start as an analyst role in India in IB?  

I am a B. in management studies and ACCA with a Non - Engineering background and Tier 3 college in Mumbai? I have some background at buldge bracket (say MS, GS, JP) of 1 year but in the middle and back-office roles unrelated to M&A. Do you think my best bet is to start at some local boutique or shall I try for any other route? I do not wish to pursue an MBA at IIMs for at least another 3 years. 

I would love to get some opinions and also liked to know if ACCA is at all useful as I see a lot of CAs entering the field. Do you think I need to pursue CFA?
