Investment Property Analysis
Next week I am beginning to work for a mREIT that specializes in the acquisition, securitization and sale of residential debt obligations for single-family homes. I know that single-family rental REITs can value properties utilizing DCF Analysis, however, would a mREIT ever? What do mortgage companies look for when analyzing a mortgage for an investment property? Could I utilize DCF Analysis to value the home in case of foreclosure?
