Investments Management Unit or Finance Analyst?

Hi everyone. First post on WSO, wanted to get some career advice from someone outside my social circle on campus.

I'm a sophomore at a non-target school pursuing a B.B.A., Economics and Finance double major. Like many, I am aiming for an analyst job at a BB bank post-graduation. Future career planning isn't why I'm posting though.

I am in the final stages of interviewing for two positions for an internship this summer. Ideally, I want my sophomore internship to make me experienced for an IB analyst internship Summer 2019, and help me stand out to recruiters.

I will post the job descriptions, type company, and my thoughts so far on both internships. Definitely tell me if my thoughts are wrong and post any advice or suggestions. I could post name of companies in comments if people usually do that - again, first post here.

Internship 1:
Job description: Investment Management Unit (IMU) Technology team. The Investment Management Unit manages investments for the rest of the company. The unit generates volumes of data that is needed in various formats to report performance and characteristics. This team develops new interfaces and methods to generate those reports.

Type of company: Global provider of investment processing, investment management and investment operations solutions. Works with institutions, banks, investment advisers, investment managers, and private clients.

Internship 2:
Job description: Will have an opportunity to work closely with an experienced Financial Cost Analyst, performing the day-to-day activities in areas of program organization, planning, scheduling and budgeting analysis, management reporting, baseline revisions, data maintenance, and metrics. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to observe the use of financial information systems and the preparation of applicable financial reports.

Type of company: Fortune 100 defense contractor.

My Thoughts: Internship 1 provides work in a financial services company relating to investments, so that's a plus. Internship 2 would develop analytical skills and seems more inclined to corporate finance, which would also be very helpful. Either way, I have much to gain from either internship. So I really wonder which one would look better to IB recruiters on a resume. Internship 2 is with a larger and well known company, however it's not a company in financial services. Internship 2 has a higher pay but that's of lesser importance to me for now. Just trying to find what would get me best prepared for summer 2019 recruitment.

If my past experience or skills are relevant to comparing the two, I can provide that info.
