Is 2017 the year of flop IPOs?
Monkeys, I was listening to the Deal of the Week podcast which spoke about the IPOs in the US this year.
We all know that Blue Apron has tanked (Amazon effect!) and Snap's investors are jittery about it. According to their data, Bloomberg IPO index has risen 1.5% compared to S&P 500s's 10% increase. A few IPOs' like MuleSoft went well but it largely didn't create the same interest.
Is 2017 turning out to be a bad year for IPOs'?
