Is anyone doing Morgan Stanley IBD SA Superday Interview?

Has anybody here gone through MS Summer Analyst superday interviews? Anything to expect for the upcoming ones (NY IBD for non-core schools)?

I am wondering how much tech questions to expect, what are their interview styles, etc.

Much appreciation!

I went through it for the sophomore rotational program, can't say it would be the same for the standard SA but mine was four 30-minute interviews back to back, three Associates and a VP.

  • had one brainteaser (how many tennis balls would you say would fill this room)
  • absolutely 0 technicals (one Assoc. asked if I'd come across any methods of valuation for companies so far in my coursework, I answered no and briefly described PE ratios and the GGM formula I'd learned the week before in a finance course and she said "ok" super cheerfully and moved right on)
  • standard fit/behavioral
  • "why IBD rather than S&T" (awkward because I had an offer in Fixed Income there already), "why now as a sophomore"

Hope this helps. SB please? Haha.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Haha sure. Thanks a lot for the insights. I'm gonna be going through 4 30-minute interviews as well. I am surprised to hear that there was not technical questions...which is opposite from what I'd expected. Maybe it was because of the sophomore program.

Did you end up working there?

Yeah, the counter in the upper-right corner of each post indicates how people have rated the replies. Blue numbers are positive for SBs, red are negative for monkey shit. Although they counteract each other on the post, they don't balance on your total monkey banana count, SBs count for +3 bananas and monkey shit is only -1.
