I opened my dust engulfed twitter account, which only contained finance/news follows (just a dull thing that kept me up to date) and now out of nowhere there's literally p-rn on my timeline. Where tf did that come from? How does someone go from covering commodities in the far East to following p-rn accounts?
Other sites have it much worse, but I'm not that active on many. I hear tiktok is the absolute worst and I'm bewildered by how insane that app is. Even just talking to friends almost every topic has to be turned sexual. There's this friend who wanted my help with working out, I eventually stopped because he wouldn't shut up about "getting bitches" when he's ripped. Similarly on the abomination that is dating apps there is egregious emphasis on being a sex goon more than anything.

Ouch, uhh... I was raised by a single mother, my father was never in the picture but I still didn't deviate. Still I think the issue can start with a broken family, but like you said I'd emphasize morality more. And that's just to avoid absolving some people from shitty behavior

I don't think people crave sex more than what we use to, but the morality and modern belief on how wild we should act is to be blamed on social media.
