Is it normal to start getting depressed as shit/unmotivated doing WFH a week straight from a studio apt

Title delivers the premise

curious to get a sense of whether im a lil bitch or it actually makes sense to start feeling numb/unmotivated after a few weeks of WORKING LIKE HORSE FROM THE PAD (solo/studio)

One week, one month whatever. The bottom line is this shit sucks.

I enjoyed WFH for maybe the first month. No face time, freedom to walk, work out and do chores during downtime and all that.

Finally realized stress level was through the roof. I'd sign off for the day, hit the couch, look over and see my work station. There's no getting away from the "office" so to speak when you WFH. There is no line, there is no signing off. It sucks to recycle from bed -> workstation -> couch -> bed in a small space.

Granted this was during peak lockdown but am sure as shit happy to not do that anymore.

It took me about a week to realize I could shoot the shit w friends on the phone while I worked/had down time (works better if both of y’all are working from home). You don’t have to talk the entire time but it’s nice to have someone to think out loud with and bounce thoughts off of throughout the work day. Makes keeping up w college friends pretty easy

Been WFH for almost 2 years.

Best thing to ever happen to me and the family.

Motivation is key and goal setting is key to keep your sanity.

I realized I had so much extra time, I started a business and raised $10 million.

See my kids and wife more.

Close the screen at a designated time every day.  Slot an hour to walk around outside every day.  Schedule a nap / read a book once or twice a week for an hour or two during the day.

Drink 2x the amount of water you normally would.
