Is it ok to say “sorry I don’t have an experience dealing with that issue in the past” when an interviewer asks me about it?

The interviewer asked me to tell her about a time when I had to confront someone over a particular issue. However, I never dealt with that. Should I be honest about it and just say “I never had that experience?”

I agree with the Analyst. make up any story from any single experience of something that could have happened at an internship or at school. then reiterate the transferable skills and how they’re applicable.

If anyone comes in here on their gold and ivory chariot to gloat about how making up behaviorals is immoral they're an asshole. There is no way you've avoided confrontation for your entire life.. use something as inspiration if you don't want to manufacture something out of thin air. You need to be memorable from your behavioral responses.

If a kid ever told me they never had a disagreement with anyone I would think they are a cuck and would ding them for it, if not for the lack of EQ it takes to not have a story prepared.
