Is it possible to become a billionaire like this

i understood the nigerian tycoon aliko dangotes game play.

the inverse of money is barter right. give a value get a value. money is a shorthand. what matters is giving a value getting a value. so as long as youre delivering a good or service thats wanted you have a job.

the issue with being a businessmen or attempting to sell things other than your time like starting a business:

not all businesses will succeed, lack of proof of concept, idea has no use case or the incumbent is too strong.

like u can make a car but people judge on after-sales or distribution/parts network

His plan

McKinsey will tell you whats wanted and will grow, and will tell you what you can practically sell and get into a market without infringing on strong incumbent competitors. So no you wont be doing automobiles. Incumbents have a strong after-sales and distribution network is needed.

and no, you wont be doing beverages to compete with Coca Cola either.

look at his businesses, cement, sugar, fertilizer now oil.

these are all commodities anyone can enter and sell customer doesnt care who seller is. theres no brand or after-sales network needed

Opportunity in commodities:

he buys up the machine and earns an arbitrage point. the machine becomes a money printer or arbitrager.

crude = $3 diesel = $5 more if you cartelizes on vendor and market side your margin increases

He is building the worlds largest oil refinery and my suspicion is after it is complete:

He will cartelize on Nigerias crude suppliers and then cartelize on downstream players and earn a nice spread in between.

At every step he leverages using bank loans and turns it into high number absolute income by spending that loan money on the arbitrage machine (refinery, sugar refinery, cement plant) and sucking out profits from EBITDA.Β

Yeah but the reason he can ensure the stability of his cartels is because he's bribing Nigerian government officials to keep competition out.

I feel you're at large a really dumb person who thinks they are smart. Your IQ is average at best. Maybe 90 though based on your writing style.Β

Isaiah, you claim I am dumb yet here you are spending time on my posts and my threads.

Even if you were smarter than me and I'm assuming you are for your convenience, you are not any more effective because you entertain 90 IQ people like me.

Jokes on you hahaha

I'm smarter than 98% of the population, so most of my time in my life is spent with people that have a different learning curve than me.

I don't want to be condescending, but am a Christian and have to treat others as they would want to be treated, no matter their IQ. I was just pointing out a few things.

Do yourself a favor, when you die leave us your brain. We'll put it in a jar and exhibit it for being smarter than 98% of the people on the planet.

Marketing and sales might be an issue though as since you are not Einstein I doubt anyone will care.

You have to be dumb as shit to feel the need to forge your high school grades. I went to one of the most competitive high schools in the nation and yet cruised my way into a HYPSM, and my IQ isn't even that extraordinary. Ballpark of 150-165

Dangote's strategy is very interesting.Β  The man started out as a importer, but decided to make the goods himself in a country where all previous attempts to industrialize had failed.Β  So he diversified the risk by manufacturing... everything... and surprisingly it worked.Β Β

His grandfather was one of the richest men in Africa at the time of his death bro. This isn't some cinderella story, he was born rich and will die richer.
