Is it worth re-recruiting for FT?

I was a SA at a boutique IB firm in NYC for my junior year summer. Although I enjoyed the experience, the firm focuses specifically on one sector that I did not seem to find interesting. I am not sure what my long term career goal is but definitely want to leave exit opportunities open if I don’t want to stay in IB.

I received a return offer but was wondering whether it is worth trying to recruit for an EB/BB for full time. The boutique firm pays very well but doesn’t have the same brand recognition as other places. I’m worried that if I don’t take the return offer I might be left with something worse or nothing IB related for full time.

Hey man it may be too late to be thinking about this. Unfortunately full time recruiting has kind of passed by at all EBs now and BBs are winding down. You may be able to get into a MM that goes late but I don't have insight into those timelines. It's going to be an uphill battle for sure if you haven't started networking. Good luck
