Is it worth trying again after a bad first round interview?

Staying light on detail so I dont doxx myself.

Had a not so great phone-screen interview at a mid-size company a year back. >300 employees, several offices nationally.

What went wrong is that I was really unprepared and never followed up. That said, the interview was NOT awkward, embarrassing, or rude. it was just simply not my best performance.

Now i want to see if its worth it to try again. I would do much better now, if given a chance, but it all hinges on whether or not I'm blacklisted.

Thoughts?
