Is Jim Cramer's stupid voice/accent authentic?

Watching 'Men Who Built America' and Jim Cramer occasionally pipes in with his annoying-ass voice, and it really stands out in comparison to the narrator's and the other guest commenters, whose voices are normal and educated-sounding. Here's the thing. Cramer's from Pennsylvania, he went to college at Harvard, then he worked in Florida - is that a real NY accent or does he ham it up so the american public thinks of him as a "true New Yorker"?

EDIT** my bad ... mentioned it to a friend, turns out it's a strong Philly accent. Still horrible, he needs to tone it down

As someone from the area I think the worst part of Philly speech is the slang.

"Me and the bouls had to stop at the MAC machine to get some jawn to spend on cheesesteaks wiz wit. We were straight up drawlin' for forgetting to ask for jimmies on our wooder ice afterwards."

Like there are perfectly fine synonyms that the rest of the country uses, but for some reason people take pride in knowing and using these words.

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

He grew up in the suburbs of Philly but I do not think he has much of a Philly accent. He may have had one when he was younger but as you get older and get educated, you tend to lose the accent if you had one. This is what I have noticed in the north east. I think with him, his style of communicating might be the issue.
