Is LEED AP worth it for a developer?
With sustainability and green building becoming a top talking point in this industry as of late, does a LEED AP certification make sense for a Mixed-Use Developer? I know this is typically a certification pursued by architects, but I recently saw that Alex Mehran Jr, CEO of Sunset Development, is a LEEP AP certification holder. Bishop Ranch, Sunset's 585k Mixed-Use Development, has a whole section dedicated to their green philosophy, and I feel this trend will only continue for more notable Mixed-Use projects

Do you know anyone with a LEEP AP certification that is not a design professional?

What would be your perception of a developer with a LEED AP certification from a hiring side? (I know most large cap REITs have separate internal sustainability wings, so this might be more helpful at a smaller to mid-size private shop).

Overall, would you say it would be worth pursuing?
