The Oracle $9.3 billion acquisition of NetSuite will officially close on Monday, Oracle said early Saturday morning.

The deal is said to add around $1 billion to Oracle's revenue. I was wondering: how exactly can NetSuite benefit Oracle? What are the prime advantages of this acquisition? Is it a good idea?
