Is quant trading worth it?
It seems like most quant traders have to work early, 12 hour days for a realistic salary of around 200k a year. Is this truly the salary range of a quant trader with bonuses? How is this worth the time, effort, stress, damage to personal life, and harm to physical health? I am particularly curious about credit derivatives.
