Is sophomore spring semester too late to break into banking jobs?

I'm a sophomore/Year 2 student taking Risk Management Business Intelligence major in Hong Kong. After thinking some more about my career aspirations, I would like to try out a career in investment banking/consulting first. Of course, I know recruiting for these roles starts extremely early, and so I would like to know if it's too late for me to pursue a career in this industry.

I think I'm in a target school, looking at how many graduates who enter investment banks/hedge funds/consulting. My university is especially famous for the business school, which I am in now, though I was originally going to take a science major. My previous internships and experiences are mostly focused on software engineering, with only one experience in working finance-related role at a club.

I just want honest feedback for the possibilities of breaking into an investment bank. Is it possible for me?

This gets asked insanely often, no it isnt late, and try to utilize your college seniors more and asked them when they've started
