Is that a good background?
Hi! I am new to the forum, so I apologize if this is not the place for such kind of thread. I got a job at a company that does analytics, more specifically, it does credit scoring for consumers around the world(similar to FICO scores) and works with big financial institutions and governments. The job itself requires modelling using software such as SAS. In the long term I would like to develop myself in the risk management career paths, such as credit risk analyst, risk manager etc. My question is whether this is a suitable position for my long term goal, considering the fact that I will be doing a masters in a couple of years as well?
