There are a decent number of shops out in Seattle.

  • Goldman - opened a small office a while back to service big clients, 3-4 analysts
  • BofA - one of their MM bankers (Jamie P.) sits there but not sure they hire at the analyst level
  • KeyBanc - believe their Seattle office is strictly ECM, 1-2 analysts
  • BMO - residual office from GHF acquisition, 2-3 analysts
  • Piper - public finance only, 2-3 analysts
  • Cascadia - largest presence, LMM and MM focus, 10+ analysts
  • Meridian Capital - LMM focus, 3-4 analysts and growing
  • Zachary Scott - LMM focus, 2-3 analysts and growing
  • Moss Adams Capital - IB arm of regional accounting firm, 1-2 analysts and growing
  • After this point you start fading into brokerage shops like Broadmark, MeritHarbor, OneAccord, First Hill, Chinook Capital and ACT advisors.

Pickings aren't great but if you land one of the coveted spots you can lateral to a strong MM or even BB after a year.
