Is the Italy finance scene still terrible?
Long story short, next spring, I plan on backpacking in Europe while working on a farm for housing/food or teaching English there. I am somewhat conversational in Italian and I plan on studying the language even more after recruiting.
I figure, maybe I could reach out to a few ex-pats or firms in Italy and maybe see if I can get a gig at a firm there for the spring. I did an informal internship for an international residential real estate firm and they basically gave me free housing and some meals to work at their office. It was an awesome experience.
Do you think any IB or PE firms would take on interns for dirt cheap there?
