Is there any way back?
Long story short.
I was on the correct career path in my younger days.
I was achieving top grades at a target school and had a job offer from a BB firm in S&T.
However, I became seriously ill during my final year of University and had to withdraw. This also culminated in me not taking up full time employment.
It took me many years to recover from my illness, and the only work I have completed has been as a director in my family’s non-finance related business.
I’m now 29, fully recovered, but I feel I may have missed the boat for a finance career.
I have one year left of University, if I chose to complete, and have been significantly left behind by my peer group.
Is this situation recoverable? Or do I need to start looking at other careers?
Many Thanks in advance,
