Is this a good pre-sophomore summer? (Undergrad)

Hello,

This summer I will be a student at the University of East London. I am attending their summer abroad international school program that candidates needed to apply for.

I have been accepted into their "London Financial Markets" program which will basically be a summer course on the market in London and normal business credit coursework that will tack on towards my regular studies at home. I will also receive "Bloomberg Intro Training" at Bloomberg HQ.

I am a freshman in college and will be a sophomore after the summer. Is this something I can include in my CV for when I'm applying towards SA internships after my junior year? What kind of jobs should I apply for once I'm back? I want to break into the industry in any manner and even a front desk or back office filing position would be better than no job during my sophomore year.

Also; I would love to move to London after undergrad but am not sure that would be feasible, is anyone aware of what it's like becoming a banker/analyst/quant in London coming from the U.S? I will have a bachelor in Finance w/ Concentration in Risk Management or a Quantitative Finance/Mathematics dual major.

I am located in northern VA.
