Position Summary
This position is for a graduating senior that will work with the Company for a three year assignment, with opportunities upon completion to attend a top tier graduate school of business, or be placed in a top tier private equity firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for conducting or assisting in developing/executing moderate to complex financial analysis in conjunction with development, acquisition and divestiture opportunities, or operational assignments.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Assists in the conduct of financial and economic analyses and operational assignments in activities such as merger and divestiture analysis, strategic planning, competitor analysis and valuation.
2. Interfaces with senior management, investment bankers, potential transaction counterparts, and PPL subsidiaries to obtain inputs to financial models in support of indicative bids and final bids associated with development, acquisition and divestiture opportunities.
3. Aids in developing financial models integrating all finance, accounting, tax and cash flow aspects ensuring that the analyses are performed in a consistent manner.
4. Supports transaction execution by managing information flow and facilitating key operational meetings.
5. Assists in developing and preparing the organization’s strategic reports.
6. Develops adequate knowledge of all accounting, finance and tax implications related to financial analyses and valuations performed.
7. Participates on due diligence teams and assists in the financial analyses related to such valuations.
