Is this it???
Hello. I’ve been in ER for about 4 months now....as an associate and all I do is....reading and writing...Is this what y’all are doing in ER??? Or does it depend on your Analyst??? And I hate writing...how do I become a better writer??? It’s been hectic to find extra time to study for the rest of my 3 exam. How did y’all manage work and prep???? Any advice would be appreciated.
lolol you hate writing and you went into ER??? 😂😂😂
LMAOOOOO
how the hell you even get the job if you hate writing - lmaooo he played himself
Equity "Research", what did you think it would be
I love the other responsibilities of the job which is why I pursued the buyside so heavily compared to the sell-side. Not as much bullshit and a bit less writing. Not publishing reports all the time.
How and when can I transition to buy side???
All I wanna do is reading and writing, except I had to make marketing decks, deal with supervisory analysts, ignore financial advisors, kiss asses of sales people / clients / director of research / company management as well.
Not as fun now since we can’t dine and wine with the clients at nice restaurants
You have to become an analyst
I wonder what is a good career/role for someone who likes the investing aspects of the role but dislikes the writing portion like the OP. Would it just be the buyside or is there something else that can mimick the investing aspect without the rest?
