Is this rejection?
When an employer responds to your follow up email with a, "best of luck in your interview process", does that basically mean you were rejected?

Nope I have goten that, just they are saying that they are going to be of no more help to you and it is not in their hands anymore. One MD told me to spread a wide net after letting me know he passed my resume along, still got a first round interview. This is just my 2 cents
It's at best a neutral sign.
Just follow up and say that you've received offers but want to go over there more than anywhere else.
I wouldn't read into it too much
Rejections invariably start with "We're sorry" or "Unfortunately" (after some fluffy positive sentence about how competitive the process was this year).
Well, this was a follow up to an interview. It seemed a bit like "Thanks for applying and good luck elsewhere". He was the only person to interview me. This would be whether or not I go to superday.
I wouldnt read too much into it, they probably just didnt feel like typing "Go get em Champ!"
I received a good luck response from one of my interviewers and it ended up being a guy who was pulling for me and helped me to get my full time position. However, with that said, another person who wished me good luck at a different super day ended up being a position I was rejected from but there was more than one interview. Therefore if it was the first round then I think it would be more of a good sign than a bad one.
Don't read too much into it. It's a neutral response (they can't really suggest you got the offer informally). I received the same response and got my full-time offer afterwards.
