Ffs dude stop with these tiers 1A/1B/1C target school rankings. It's not a thing. UChicago is a target school. Not quite as valued at Harvard/Wharton/Stanford, but definitely on par with the rest of the Ivies and the top undergrad business schools

 

That's literally the same thing as saying 1b, really good but not as good as the schools you mentioned.

Yes, its a target school. Well represented at most BBs and EBs, will get looks for PE too. 

At a certain point, whether or not you get an offer is up to you, not your school. A word of advice to the college sophomores and freshmen out there: there is no time in your career when you've 'made it' and you can just coast on your school name or your previous experience. People who come out of the best business schools and undergrads still need to prove value at whatever workplace they're in. A good school (of which Chicago is one) is just a way to get your foot in the door. The rest of it is up to you. Your career will span at least 40 years ... being able to take control of it is up to you, and nobody else.
