Ivey pre-HBA recruiting

I have been accepted AEO to Ivey but I wanted to know if I would still have access to career services during my first two years in the same way I way I will as a student at Ivey. Specifically when I am applying for internships during my first two years how will banks regard my application compared to if I went to Queens Commerce?

They will regard your application much the same way, which is with irreverence unless you are literally at the very top of your class. Internship intake during your first and second year summer is non-existent/very limited and it will be very much up to how much legwork or networking you can put in for a variety of boutique type opportunities. I wouldn't use internships in 1st or 2nd year as your criteria for choosing between Queens/Ivey. Instead, visit campus, get a feel for the programs and come to a determination of whether or not you would feel more comfortable with a completely case-based approach or whether you would enjoy a more traditional program delivery more.
