Jack Dorsey leaving Twitter

Most likely it was to focus on Bitcoin. As he has been quoted saying, "If I were not at Square or Twitter, I would be working on Bitcoin."

Obviously this is a win win for both Twitter and Square as now the CEO will be able to work twice as much time on the product and services of each company. Would love to hear thoughts.

looks like a smart kid.

Although I'm not a fan of this quote of his:

Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment, but our role is to serve a healthy public conversation … focus less on thinking about free speech, but thinking about how the times have changed.

At least we have WSO.

to me it seems like for a long time Jack stood between his company and the forces that wanted to make Twitter like Facebook and Instagram (i.e censored). This new CEO seems to soft to do that imo, wouldn’t be surprised if he gets pegged by his wife tbh
