Jefferies M&A / Sector teams

Wondering if anyone knows how exactly does a deal work @ Jefferies?

Do the sector teams originate and then handover the deal completely to the M&A team or do a few people from M&A team assist the Sector team in question to execute the deal?

Any insight would be welcome as I don't want to end up in an origination only group, I'd prefer both pitching and execution.

Thanks

Depends. Their tech group has a few M&A bankers who assist the coverage group down in SV. Also know from a friend who was at JEF a year ago that analyst turnover in the M&A group is rather high, so I'd imagine that a good deal of the execution stays within the coverage groups.
