I'd steer clear.

From a former wealth management intern: "All you do is cold calling. This place is a boiler room. The management team knows nothing about investing and have the most horrible work ethic. The management team consists of overweight fat guys yelling at potential clients over the phone. They brag about how much money they make but offer no pay to interns. Be ready for verbal abuse daily."

I interned at this firm and there were no fat guys yelling at clients or making us cold call all day. On the contrary it was quite the opposite. It's certainly no JP Morgan so if you are looking for that then this isn't for you.

My team was fortunate enough to breakdown random investment ideas, assist a few brokers and sit in on meetings with companies. In the end, they helped redo my resume. Since then I had numerous interviews and now work full time in the industry. I do wish I was paid while doing this internship, but for all I received it was a good experience.

It's a military internship!!! if you are crazy enough to go through this internship, you can get into any investment banking program. I was there for three months and learned more there than I did in 4 yrs in college.
