Johnson vs. Anderson vs. Tepper+$

I was just accepted at Johnson, Anderson, and Tepper. Tepper offered me a partial scholarship. What is everyone's opinion on these school's for management consulting? I would really like to eventually make my way back/ work on the west coast. My initial inclination is to choose UCLA because of its west coast strength, but Cornell seems to place slightly better at the top firms. Also, it is hard to say no to money. Thank you for the help.

They are really quite comparable. CMU would probably place better at semi-quant and tech jobs, but otherwise I don't see any real difference in quality.

I guess a lot depends on just how much money Tepper is giving you, and whether you can claim residency for UCLA tuition. You don't have to be living in CA if you meet a few conditions: http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/x27483.xml

If you want to work on the West Coast, I would try Anderson. A lot of grads stay in state, so there should be a strong network. I am not sure how MBB does MBA recruiting, so I cannot say if location would make a difference there. However, at least you would be in a desirable location if MBB recruiting fell through.

Finally, consider where you will be spending 2 years (which are supposed to be fun): Ithaca, Pittsburgh, or Westwood?
