they just advised actavis on the biggest pharma deal this year....
what a stupid question.
No, they haven't been on a deal in years. Sad, really. If you're asking because you have an interview, make sure you say something like, "Now I know J.P. Morgan hasn't been on a deal in the last couple of years, but I truly believe in this bank and it's ability to win going forward."
Unfortunately, Morgan Stanley is facing the same predicament. It is truly a sad era for the House of Morgan.
I attended a JPM networking event and an analyst mentioned he had worked on the Burger King and Tim Horton's deal.

I have an interview coming up with JP Morgan. Could someone please send me a list of their recent transactions?
If you are too lazy to do basic research why do you expect any of us to help you?
try bloomberg
What position is that for?
Read Barbarians at the Gate, it goes into great detail on JPM's most recent deal.

why should he even bother when he's got you?

We're about to enter a Great Depression. Don't you want a president who's already dressed for it?
Ha, good point I suppose. It stands for Multifactor Dimensionality Reduction.
recent JPM deals? (Originally Posted: 01/22/2012)
searched dealbook, wsj deal blog, etc and couldn't find any recent JPM deals (within past month or so). anyone help on this?
thanks
Best thing is if you know someone who works there who can send you their franchise newsletter (I think they still have this). It's not private info, all announced deals so it should be fine. If not go to Yahoo finance and look up JPM, and scroll to headlines.
I just did a search on dealbook and found a few, you might not be putting in the right search functions
SAP's acquisition of SFSF is a very impressive JPM deal.
sonosite sale to Fuji, on it with GCA Savvian. got a huge premium on that one.
Morgan Keegan / Raymond James, advisor to RJ,
Blackstone / Shopping Centers, advisor to seller
both deals from 2 weeks ago
