JP Morgan Summer Intern Problem (NYC)

Hey guys just wated to get your opinion on a little predicament I'm currently dealing with. I am currently a Senior at an IVY school and managed to secure an internship on JPM's IBD program for this summer. Now I am aware that we are going to have to go through a background check/employment verification. Now this is all well and good as I have been completely truthful on my resume however for one of the Jobs I was fired for unauthorised absence (had family problems at the time hence why I stopped showing up) but I was only 17at the time. Does anyone know whether this means I'll have my offer rescinded? Also what is JP Morgans background check like if anyone knows? I would hate it if a stupid mistake I made when I was in high school would cost me my future career!!

Any advice would be much appreciated!

too late for that I already have it on my resume. Is it ok to list anybody at the company as a referee or does it have to be HR? Because I actualy have a manager who sympathised with my situation and we have kept in touch till now. I am sure he would be able to attest to my performance at the company (which was actually very good minus the terms I left on). You guys reckon this would solve my issue?

A lot of standard background check forms want your last 3 employers for instance, so if this will be your case, hopefully you had more than 3 employers (summer or academic years jobs) since you were 17. Again if this will be your case, you can ask HR if they are cool with you listing 3 employers.
