JPM analyst 1 bumped to 110k and asso 1 to 175?
Just saw Litquidity post about JPM bumping. Was wondering if anyone could confirm and if this is just for IB or for markets too?

Wonder when CS/Barclays/DB/UBS proceeds
I think AN1 is 115/120 cause AN2 is 125 & AN3 is 135
thats not true on An3. An3 is now at 125
No, Analyst 3 is 135
would the incoming interns be paid 110/115k prorated instead of 100k?
Also wondering this
Anyone have any proof?
Litquidity is usually solid + other threads abt bonus talking about the raises since it's bonus day
How does A1/A2 work for salary? Are you A1 for a full year, or from start until Jan?
Full year for each
Any other sources for this than litquidity?
When has litquidity literally ever been wrong about these in the past year
I work at JP and havent heard anything...
Agreed. Also, isn’t this just JP bumping their base salaries up to the market standard? Not sure why anyone would be surprised.
Any update on this?
its true, why are people surprised?
Confirming the bumps are true. We were told on a conference call this afternoon.
how are the bonuses like at JPM, I saw that its not the best (wsO)
Unsure man. Side note: someone threw MS at us for "low quality" hahaha ffs
is this for the private bank too?
bump
is this just for ibd?
I think it's across the bank? Unsure honestly, I know that the Private Bank had similar raises, though.
We’re pretty similar at my MM bank. AN at 105/115/125, and AS start at 165. Pay bumps across the street were way overdue, and this feels relatively low for a BB nowadays.
Total comp for a 3rd year analyst should be close to $200k no matter what. That’s a decent amount of experience.. and even Corp Dev Associate jobs are paying close to that nowadays. An AS I know at a lower MM bank recently got into a F1000 tech company and is getting paid $220k comp all-in as a Corp dev Associate.
Many sources out there showing ~$200k for first year software engineers at Facebook and like companies. Banks won’t match that, but they also can’t match the tech companies on hours either. If they want top talent to be attracted to finance, they’ve got to continue to step it up in a multitude of ways.
Mind if I ask if this is in NYC and what industry? $220k tech corp dev in NYC seems reasonable but would be surprised if they made that much in a Tier 2 city in a lower paying industry,

I made 200k as a first year analyst with bonus
1st year to 2nd year in a markets group, raised to 115k today
is analyst pay scale different for markets then?
Yes, now markets is on a slightly different scale at the junior level. AN3 in Markets here, and I was bumped up to 125, vs. 135 for IB. Given the disparity in work/life balance, I would say this seems warranted.
Numbers for London folks?
bump for london
Is this only for IB/S&T analysts or does it include CB, AWM, Commercial Banking analysts as well.
bump
will hr send out new offer letters for incoming analysts about this?
You probably will not get a letter rather just a message, that your pay is being bumped. No need to re-sign letters.
You have any idea how long that could take?
curious to know too!
This for Private Bank as well?
Current first-year at the PB and after our bonus discussion yesterday were told salaries are $105k for us effective Feb 1 (this was told to us months ago too).
What were bonus ranges like? Incoming Analyst here.
These raises came out yesterday though. If I remember correctly, the IB raises to the 105 scale were also earlier before the private bank adopted it. I doubt our managers had any instant communication when it happened.
potentially might see some revision calls in a few days with the new salary if looking historically.
Any word for BofA?
how about UBS?
Is the bump from $100k to 110k also for markets?
Looking at the Bloomberg article reporting the wage increase, looks like it'll apply to Markets as well. Everyone eats.
how does the 3 year analyst program work at jpm? is it a full 3 years or like 2.5?
interested too. do people know of cases of 2.5 years promotion ? how rare is it or how hard is it to achieve?
3yrs in PB. July -> July
This all looks like wage inflation to me
